A historic Bronx-Manhattan merger between two champions of Puerto Rican and Latino culture!

Building on mission congruence and shared arts and cultural legacy, Pregones Theater and the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater joined forces in early 2014, to become a single, multi-venue company.  Now  our audiences can gain expanded access to not one but two remarkable Latino stages:

·      Pregones Theater on Walton Avenue, south of Yankee Stadium, in the heart of the burgeoning South Bronx Cultural Corridor.
·      The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre occupies a former firehouse building at 304 West 47th Street, in the heart of the Broadway district.

(1) to create and perform original musical theater and plays rooted in Puerto Rican/Latino cultures, and (2) to present other performing artists who share our twin commitment to the arts and civic enrichment.
