SolFest 2021: Hybrid Edition

ONLINE and IN-PERSON – September 19-23, 2021 – SolFest is back in EXPANSIVE and HYBRID mode centering playwrights, poets, and performances with both in-person and online events! The Divine Feminine

IN PERSON – 4:00pm on November 14, 2021 – The Open Gates Project: Inaugural Season presents THE DIVINE FEMININE: Centering Women of Color in Early Music featuring thirteen extraordinary women musicians. From the works of Cozzolani, Caccini, and Strozzi, to the texts of New World visionary (and reclaimed Latinx icon) Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, the artists will explore themes of femininity, culminating in a performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
