Where ART Meets GREEN
STAGE GARDEN RUMBA is a fresh and FREE new LIVE PERFORMANCE series in the South Bronx! And we’re kicking off this Cinco de Mayo!
WHERE: At Pregones’ beautiful little garden on Walton Avenue, between 149th and 150th Streets.
WHAT: It’s an invitation for you and your family to experience some of our boroughs green and underutilized spaces in the company of creative and fearless agents of change! It’s a chance to inspire and get inspired! To kick things off, we showcase short new works by some of your favorite artists in dialogue with local activists. Together we ask, What Makes Our South Bronx Boogie?
WHO: And you can get in on the action with Flaco Navaja, Milteri Tucker + Bombazo Dance Company, Los Pleneros de La 21, Bonafide Rojas, Pregones/PRTT Ensemble, and more!
STAGE GARDEN RUMBA launches in proud partnership with We Stay/Nos Quedamos.
