Pregones/PRTT’s ASAP Artist Space
Who Can Apply?
- Open to emerging & established artists (min. 4 yrs experience outside of an educational format).
- Theater, Dance, Music and Visual Artists.
What You Get
- Up to 32 hrs of space access.
- Choice of venues:
- 1. The Bronx: Pregones at Walton Ave. – 36’ x 28’ stage, 124 seats.
- 2. Manhattan: PRTT at 47th Street. 4th Floor Rehearsal Studio, 22’ x 24’.
- Access to lighting rep plot, sound & projection equipment.
- For public performances: 1 House Man- ager, 1 usher & 1 technical supervisor. Box Office services available at extra cost.
Step 1: Artist Questionnaire
Please complete and submit the artist questionnaire LINKED HERE. Please note that these are rolling submissions and there is no deadline. We will inform people of their application status within 3 months of submission
Step 2: Formal Application
If qualified and selected you will receive the formal application form to the email address from this submission form.
Step 3: Letter of Agreement
Once selected and on the schedule we will set up a meeting to discuss the projects needs and what the space can offer. Based on this information a Letter of Agreement signed by both parties will be created.
Step 4: Execution and Post Mortem Review
After your final presentation we will have a post-mortem meeting as well as exchange materials for Pregones/PRTT archives.
Thing to Keep in Mind
- THIS IS A SPACE-ONLY GRANT. You must bring your own creative/technical team (operators & designers not provided).
- The technical supervisor provided for public shows handles equipment on/off only — not design or operation.
- Lighting Rep Plot cannot be altered ($1,500 fee if modified).
