Moderated by Marinieves Alba and featuring Puerto Rico’s Adriana Santoni Rodríguez (Plena Combativa), Gloriann Sacha Antonetty Lebrón (Revista Étnica), Oakland’s Denis Solis (LGBTQIA activist, union organizer and bomberx), and the Twin Cities’ Maria Isa Perez-Hedges (Youth activist, community organizer, Hip Hop Emcee and Bombera) on issues of race, gender, equity, politics, and music. – TUNE IN!

June 19 to September 17, 2021 – A new art exhibit by Bronx artist David Hernaíz Concepción, created in collaboration with performer Julia Gutiérrez-Rivera, exploring the fleeting and nuanced expressions of a dancer’s performance of Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba music. Opening celebration with live music, and a special panel on the intersection of visual arts, cultural activism, and performance. Free admission. On view through September 17, 2021.
