The actors and stage managers employed in this production are members of Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States. This Theater operates under an Actors’ Equity Association Off-Broadway NYC-LOA.
Desmar Guevara — Pregones/PRTT’s Resident Composer and Musical Director, Guevara studied jazz composition and arrangement at Berklee College of Music and has built an original musical theater repertory that draws on traditional Afro-Puerto Rican instrumentation. He is founding director of the chamber jazz ensemble Taller Sicá and a founding member of Afro-Puerto Rican ensemble Viento de Agua, with collaborators over the years including Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, and Tito Nieves.
