Soldanela Rivera López, current Chair of the Board of Directors of Pregones/PRTT, is an independent media producer and immediate past Director of Communications at Hostos Community College of The City University of New York, in the South Bronx. Prior professional experience includes over 10 years as a communications executive producer spanning the fields of nonprofit and commercial dance, film, television, music, and theater, and working with emerging, established, and world-renowned figures. Other notable credits: creator/producer of Notes From A Native Daughter: Conversations from the Pan-American Experience (www.nfand.com), a long running audio blog featuring interviews with culture and change makers; author of caregiving memoir View For Death, launched in partnership with AARP; named Mujer Destacada/Influential Latina by New York’s El Diario La Prensa in 2018.
