A New Forum Play for Community Health!

Pregones/PRTT’s Doomscroll continues four decades of forum theater practice — a tradition the company first introduced in the 1980s to address the impacts of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and now turns toward mobile phone addiction and community wellness in the digital age. Young people carry this risk most acutely, and the show centers them while honoring a longstanding commitment to intergenerational audiences. Written by playwright Alejandra Ramos Riera, Doomscroll is the second premiere in Pregones/PRTT’s interactive, Abrazo/Embrace initiative. Directed by Jorge B. Merced.
