Teen Prodigy – FREE Bronx Piano Sunday Concert

ADAM JACKSON was born in the UK to a Polish mother and a Welsh father. At the age of 7 he moved with his family to the U.S. and became one of the youngest Hoff Barthelson Music School students ever to be placed in the Honors Program. He is currently a 9th Grade student at the Special Music School in New York, and studies with renowned concert pianist Ms. Orli Shaham.

Adam made his orchestral debut at the age of 10 as winner of the Symphony of Westchester Concerto Competition playing Mozart Concerto No.23, K.488.

In the last year, Adam was awarded 1st prize in the Young Musician of the Year competition at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod, Wales, second prize in the Theodor Leschetizky International Concerto Competition in NY, and third prize in the Kaufman International Youth Piano Competition in NY.

This season has seen Adam playing in the Weill Room at Carnegie Hall, and performing with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio in Poznan, Poland, under the baton of Anna Duczmal-Mrøz.
