Doris Colón is Board Chair of Latino Center for Aging; Advisory Member of the New York City Department for the Aging; Board Member of Neighborhood SHOPP, empowering older adults and families for independent living; and a recently appointed Member of Bronx Community Board 9. She is Director Emeritus of Senior Center & Programs at Goddard Riverside Community Center, one of New York City’s leading human service organizations. Ms. Colón was Chair of the Board of Directors of Pregones Theater, playing a key role in the capital project for construction of the company’s Bronx theater and in its subsequent merger with Puerto Rican Traveling Theater.
